STARBASE 2.0 @ Jumoke Academy
STARBASE 2.0 @ Burr School
As part of Jumoke STEM Academy's daily
schedule, we are working with eighth and
seventh grade classes on Thursdays and
Fridays from 3:30-4:15 to develop critical
thinking and problem solving skills by doing
short term engineering challenges.
STARBASE academis are a wonderful
opportunity to come to our STARBASE
facilities and mentor students in our
classroom as they explore a variety of
STEM topics including CAD development,
chemistry, physics, advanced mathematics,
robotics, etc.
As part of Burr School's after school
program we work with fifth and sixth grade
students on Tuesdays from 4;15-5:30 pm to
develop critical thinking and problem
solving skills by doing short term
engineering challenges.
STARBASE 2.0

STARBASE 2.0 is the next step of STARBASE CT. This
element of our program reaches out into the
community and works to engage young people in the
grades 6-8 in STEM activities and opportunities. This
ever evolving aspect of program is ALWAYS on the
lookout for mentors to work with young people as they
explore things like LEGO robotics, solar cell cars,
hovercraft, video game design, etc. The opportunities
are nearly limitless. If you are interested in helping
young people explore STEM fields volunteer today!
